Interfy Pty Ltd (“Interfy”) and its service (“OneCore”) is committed to ensuring the privacy of all users’ (“Users”) information. We respect and protect your privacy and thank you for visiting our website and reviewing our Privacy Policy.

Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information submitted by Users on all parts of the interfy.com.au domain name (the “Website”) or emailed to Interfy and it’s staff, and any information that may be automatically retrieved through the services that Interfy offers on the Website (“Services”).

Consent

By accessing the Website and/or using the Services, all Users consent to the collection, use, disclosure, storage and processing of their information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

As Interfy integrates different software from third party services (“Platforms”), it is up to the Users to review the Privacy Policy of those Platforms. Platforms refers to, but is not limited to Procore, Xero and Sine. Interfy may collect information from other software Platforms to enable the integrations to work.

Users provide consent on behalf of their own staff, customers, suppliers and anyone else they may interact with (“Customers”).

Changes to Privacy Policy

Interfy may amend or update this Privacy Policy from time to time, with or without notice to Users. All Users agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy that is in effect at the time they access the Website and/or use the Services.

Personal information

In order to use the Services, all Users will need to submit certain personal information such as their email address and name. Users may be asked to submit further information from time to time, or it may be provided to Interfy by other Platforms. By providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to us collecting, holding, using and disclosing your Personal Information (including holding by, using by and disclosure to any Platforms we use to make our Services function).

Non-personal information

We may also collect, hold, use and disclose information about you that is not necessarily personal information including, but not limited to:

– data relating to your activity on our website via tracking technologies such as analytic, cookie and session tools, which data can include:

  • the identity of your internet browser;
  • the type of operating system you use;
  • your IP address;
  • the domain name of your internet service provider;
  • the pages accessed on our site; and
  • the next site visited; and

– non-personal details of any survey responses you provide.

We may use this non-personal information for internal purposes including, administering our services, diagnosing problems, generating statistics and trends and improving the quality of our products and services.

Use of information and data

The personal information that users of the service provide will only be used in connection with the Services offered by Interfy, to communicate with Users in relation to the Services or to co-operate with any government, industry or regulatory authorities. Interfy from time to time may contact a User for account support purposes, support desk or for marketing purposes relating to the Service regarding features or promotions. The only people that use your information are Interfy’s support desk in order to address your queries.

Disclosure of information

Unless expressly authorised to do so by the relevant User, Interfy will not disclose any User’s personal information to any third party except where the disclosure relates to the purposes for which the information was collected, or for the operation of the Service (as stated above).

Security

Interfy takes reasonable steps to protect the personal data provided via the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or email transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email or input into our Services.

Access to and updates of information

Users may request at any time to see the personal information that Interfy holds on its behalf (to the extent that Users are unable to do so on the Interfy Services by logging in themselves). Please email Interfy at support@interfy.com.au.

Storage of information

Users of the Service shall have their data hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Sydney region). If you are from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, you hereby consent to the transfer of your personal information to outside of the European Union (or from your country, as applicable), including to Australia. By providing your personal information, you consent to any transfer and processing in accordance with this Policy. Any User is solely responsible for informing their own Customers that their data maybe stored outside the country of origin and that third party servers maybe used. We do not store any transaction information once it has been processed. Further, Users of our Services are solely responsible for establishing policies for and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as all privacy policies, agreements or other obligations, relating to the collection of personal information in connection with the use of our Services by individuals or Customers with whom our Users interact.

Retention

Interfy may hold User & Customer personal information both before and after the transmission of information between the Platforms, but only for as long as required by Interfy to allow the Service to operate, or is lawfully entitled to do so. We may be legally required to maintain some of your Personal Information for a significant period of time, however once we no longer need your Personal Information, subject to any legal requirement; we will take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to destroy the information or ensure that the information is de-identified.

Business transfers

We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, customer information is typically one of the business assets that is transferred. Also, if we (or substantially all of our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information would be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

If you wish to make a complaint to us about how we have handled your Personal Information please do so in writing addressed to our Privacy Officer. If you need help lodging a complaint, please feel free to contact us. We take all complaints seriously, and will respond to your complaint within a reasonable period. We will determine what (if any) action we should take to resolve the complaint. If we decide that a complaint should be investigated further, the complaint will usually be handled by a more senior officer than the officer whose actions you are complaining about.
